Serving Killingworth for
more than 10 years

Chuck Sharples, Owner
Chuck Sharples
I have been in the construction business for the past 30 years. A Connecticut native, I moved to Killingworth in 2004 and started House Works. I do all phases of construction, from something as simple as changing a light fixture to small additions and bonus rooms. One of my favorite things to do is to sit down with a homeowner, create an image of the desired project outcome, and then bring that project to life.

I also enjoy helping my customers tackle their “punch lists” or “to do” lists. Whether it’s replacing rotted trim, fixing a leaky faucet, replacing a broken light switch, or all of the above!, I can help you check items off your list. I have found most people like to have one person who can do it all, rather than having multiple people in their homes multiple times. Wouldn’t you rather make one appointment instead of several?

As both a resident and business owner in this community, supporting other local and family businesses is important to me. I purchase many supplies at Killingworth True Value , and frequent their terrific paint department. If I’m building something for you, chances are the wood is coming from Landon Lumber in Madison. Clinton Glass is top-notch for custom cuts. And the tools I rely on every day most likely came from Coastal Tool in West Hartford.

Although the shoreline communities are my primary service area, I welcome inquiries from other surrounding towns.
